What is Stilltober?
Stilltober is an annual drawing challenge created by artist Victoria Georgieva for painters and artists who enjoy exploring subjects such as still life, landscapes, and everyday scenes. It is an alternative prompt list to the popular Inktober challenge, with 31 word prompts designed with painters in mind.
But you don't have to be a painter to participate.
Any style, medium, and creative approach is welcome.
The prompts are intentionally open to interpretation. You can take a word in any direction and create whatever it inspires.
Use pencils, paint, digital tools, ink, textiles, 3D, animation, nail art—or whatever medium you enjoy.
Stilltober is about practicing together and having fun, not burning yourself out.
